On June 30th of this month, this coming Sunday, the sun will raise the temp over 115. (At precisely 2:47pm, on June 26, yesterday, in 1990, the temperature hit 122 degrees. That record is unbroken. The official name is “National Independents Week”, but if you’re cool and hip “Indie Week” is the bee’s knees. (I may have lost some cool points on that last bit).
